Remodeling Consultant Job Description

Job Purpose

To satisfy homeowners by "Procedurally Listening" to every comment intently, taking notes, gathering information needed for pricing and production, exceeding client expectations and generating profits.

The percentage of time for each discipline is based on the amount of time a Stebnitz Builders Remodeling Consultant should devote in a typical week.

25% BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Actively working on company-generated leads, proactively finding ways to self-generate leads from various sources and contacts, maintaining ongoing communications with existing clients and asking them for referrals, talking to community groups and being involved in your community. 20% COMMUNICATES WITH POTENTIAL CLIENTS BEFORE MEETING

20% ENSURES SMOOTH START TO PROJECT

Taking thorough notes, good photos for documentation/marketing purposes and being able to refer to them during the project. Constantly extend timeliness, Procedural Listening, and help clients through the remodeling process. Refer to the Remodeling Consultant Training Guide for complete details.

5% HANDS PROJECT OFF TO PRODUCTION

5% WRAPS PROJECT UP

Taking photos, going through the punch list with production manager, purchasing a client- appreciation gift, ensuring that the after-job survey has been sent and asking for a reference/referral. 5% ENSURES SMOOTH WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH VENDORS AND TRADE CONTRACTORS

Taking the time to educate yourself on specific/new products and being aware when a vendor needs to be involved in a project. Constantly extend timeliness, Procedural Listening, and help clients through the remodeling process. Refer to the Remodeling Consultant Training Guide for complete details.

1% BECOMES CERTIFIED AS A STEBNITZ REMODELING CONSULTANT

Passing certification exam and remaining knowledgeable in all responsibilities of a Remodeling Consultant as well as the Stebnitz Builders sales processes.

5% CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT

Working in a collaborative manner, keeping lines of communication open, demonstrating Procedural Listening and accomplishing related results as needed.

5% MAINTAINS QUALITY SERVICE

Establishing and enforcing organization standards as detailed in the Remodeling Consultant Training Guide. Constantly extend timeliness, Procedural Listening, and help clients through the remodeling process. Refer to the Remodeling Consultant Training Guide for complete details.

9% MAINTAINS PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies.
