Alonzo (Scott) brings to our team over two decades of professional experience in the field of carpentry. His passion for construction started as a 10-year-old helping his uncle in his cabinet shop. Alonzo credits his parents for giving him the opportunity to build on that experience by letting him use their home to create his first projects and encouraging him to follow his passion. Alonzo enjoys being a member of the Stebnitz Builders team because of our priority for not only operating as a professional remodeling firm but doing so with an emphasis on a family culture. This makes for not only an effective team, but one where everyone truly cares for one another. Alonzo has a wonderful attention to detail, along with a high level of craftsmanship in the work he performs. This is especially evident as he navigates the challenge of intricate trim details and delivering on some very high-end finishes. During his free time, Alonzo enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and watching movies. He also volunteers his time as an advisor for the Destination Imagination organization in the Lake Geneva school district. WIDI is a creativity-focused, non-profit program that prepares students for a rapidly evolving future. DI does this through a project-based learning experience applying the creative process across seven different challenge types— Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational, Engineering, Service Learning, and Early Learning.
