40+ YEARS OF REMODELING EXPERIENCE!
Remodeling has been a part of Dan Stebnitz’s life since he was a young boy. His father, Stan Stebnitz, completed smaller handyman projects for friends around the area. This eventually grew into starting his own business – Stebnitz Builders.
Stebnitz Builders began in 1972 when Dan was still in high school. Dan worked with his dad throughout his high school years and continued on, after graduation. Dan and his brothers Dave and Gary, purchased the company in 1985 growing the company to incorporate large remodeling projects and custom homes, as well as the handyman projects their father had originally started the company on.
In over 40 years of home improvement work, Dan has worn the hat of several positions at Stebnitz Builders, including laborer, carpenter, remodeling consultant & business manager. Currently, Dan leads the Estimating team and also helps his nephew Chris manage the growing construction business.
Dan’s focus on the company’s unique contractor services is to develop long-term relationships with our clients, listening to their dreams for their homes and fulfilling those in a timely manner. His broad experience throughout all aspects of the remodeling process gives Dan a comprehensive look at the opportunities available in every remodeling project Stebnitz Builders completes.
Dan holds several designations for education and various affiliations including Certified Lead-Safe Renovator and annual continuing education classes for the company DIHLR certification. Dan is credentialed as a Certified Remodeler with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) certification with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The CAPS designation focuses on design/build solutions to allow people to live in their homes longer and more safely.
With the last name of Stebnitz, it may seem that Dan is always wearing a Stebnitz Builders hat, but while not at work, Dan is a proud father of three adult children and the grandfather of six beautiful grandkids. His wife Cindy and he love spending time on their yard with their two cute, and quite spoiled, as Dan describes, Cocker Spaniels, Barney, and Clyde.
