Project Coordinator

As project coordinator, Dana is adding to the experience of her clients in every project she helps. She joined our team after 36 years of service as a public-school teacher. In her career in education, Dana was responsible for business/technology instruction, while also offering Project Lead The Way courses. She spent time at high schools in Stoughton and Westosha before spending her last 25 years at Elkhorn Area High School.

Design has always been an interest in Dana’s career and life. She was instrumental in creating curriculum for an Adobe design class that equipped students with the skills they needed to design on their own. She also designed the five homes that she built with her husband Jeff, which furthered her interest in the home design process.

Dana is hoping to bring her excitement for design to each home that she works with. She wants to foster a friendly atmosphere that allows her clients to turn their dreams into a reality. She hopes to guide them towards their dreams by being the helping hand that has important industry connections.

Before she started her professional career, Dana graduated from Elkhorn Area High School in 1980. After graduation she attended the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater where she received her degree in business education. After graduating, she started her first teaching job at the age of 22.

After meeting in college, Dana married her husband Jeff and they have been together for 33 years. She values her family the most in her life, and she enjoyed raising three children. Dana and Jeff’s kids are Austin (31), Ashlyn (29), and Arik (25). Their oldest two children are married and they have one grandchild, Axton (1), with another on the way in December of 2020.

In her free time Dana loves spending time with her family watching sports or spending time on the lake. Some of her other hobbies include reading and scrapbooking. Early in her teaching career she also spent time as a volleyball and track and field coach.
