Ryan rejoined the Stebnitz Builders team in the Spring of 2023. He is currently a Lieutenant on the Madison Fire Department leading Engine and Ladder 8, and he has been working for the department 25 years. Prior to his time with the fire department, Ryan worked for Stebnitz Builders as a carpenter, cabinet fabricator, and cabinet installer.
Ryan brings over 30 years of experience in the field of construction, as his high school and post-college work experience was on our jobsites. Once he started at the fire station, Ryan worked construction on the side during his days off. Managing a crew of three people, he helped clients remodel and turn their home goals to a reality. Ryan will be a crucial part of our team due to his drive to constantly be working and his natural leadership. When it comes to our client experience, Ryan will make an impact on our jobs immediately. His skills will allow him to keep the project well organized and on time.
Ryan grew up in Delavan, WI with his parents, Barb and Dave Stebnitz, and siblings, Chris Stebnitz and Rebecca Stebnitz. He graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in the class of 1992 and attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. After his time in school, he moved back to the area to join the Stebnitz team for the first time! In 1998 he left to join the Madison Fire Department.
Ryan has a wonderful family including his wife, Jenny, who he married in 2001. They have two daughters, Ella (18) and Ava (15) who are each active in sports in Sun Prairie. One of Ryan’s favorite hobbies is following his daughters around to their various sporting events throughout the year. He also enjoys hunting and fishing when he can find any extra free time. Ryan is very active in his community as he is the VP of the Sun Prairie Volleyball Booster Club and the parent coach for his daughter’s summer volleyball team.
