Project Overview

At the top of Michelle’s wish list was a master bathroom remodel. Her 20’x14′ ensuite bathroom lacked an efficient use of space and was in desperate need of an aesthetic update to bring it into the 21st century. However, Michelle knew she wanted to maintain the natural light that graced the bathroom every day.

One aspect that needed a change was the massive, sunken jacuzzi tub taking up nearly a quarter of the usable bathroom space. Michelle’s grandkids loved the “indoor swimming pool,” but it was a feature she never utilized. She also hoped we could redesign her shower, which lacked functionality due to large glass block side walls. The shower also took up a great deal of space in the bathroom but felt cramped once you stepped inside.

Before & After

Ready to begin your remodeling journey?

Every great project starts with a conversation.

Contact our team today to discuss your goals and start the path toward a beautifully reimagined home. We’re here to listen to your ideas and help you discover the full potential of your space.

With these goals in mind, Michelle entered our design process with her Stebnitz Builders remodeling consultant, Lynne Landgraf. Lynne developed a design that resolved the issues in the bathroom and enhanced its beautiful natural light.

In a budget-conscious effort, Lynne designed a layout that maintained the existing plumbing locations. The large jacuzzi tub and tile surround was replaced with a modern vessel tub, maximizing the space in the room.

Replacing the block walls of the previous shower allowed the space to live larger and created a more functional shower. The new glass walls invited the natural light into the shower and created more space inside while maintaining the existing footprint.

We finished the space with custom vanities, new light fixtures, mirrors, and quartz countertops. These updates elevated the bathroom, maximized the space and provided Michelle a bathroom that was truly “hers”.
