The first goal of the project was to create a dining room and living space that was separate from the current kitchen. We remodeled the existing garage which now serves as a living room with fireplace, flanked by two sliding doors, giving access to their new patio and a beautiful view of the backyard. The new dining area provides additional seating and opens the layout of the kitchen. The repurposed garage space also includes a wet bar, perfect for entertaining.
We expanded the seating in the kitchen by installing a larger island and finished it with a Quartz countertop. We repositioned the kitchen table into the new dining area and added a “work-from-home” desk which also allowed our clients to keep an eye on young children.
With the existing garage now turned in to living space, our team designed a garage addition to better fit our clients’ needs. The new three-car garage provided ample space for vehicles as well as additional storage. Above the garage, we designed a guest bedroom with a full bathroom, a flex room, and an office with even more storage.

Finally, we created a natural transition into the backyard by adding a patio and pergola covering the new built-in grill, while pavers and landscape features were included to tie in the new firepit and built-in hot tub.
