Tuscan-style kitchens tend to suggest a “lived in, well-used and well-loved” vibe. This kitchen and whole house remodel project in Elkhorn definitely has that feel to it from the moment the door opens. Tuscan-style will also lovingly display cooking implements and that is exactly what the all new butler’s pantry exudes. From the modern convenience of solid surface countertops and tile backsplash to displaying family heirlooms and antique cookbooks, this is by far the homeowners favorite space in the house. We repurposed the original oak kitchen cabinets in this area and is the perfect workspace for baking and meal preparation. The rustic brick wall in the kitchen is a warm and inviting background to the gorgeous induction cooktop, stove and hood. There is even a coffee bar next to the refrigerator on the way into the butler’s pantry.
We opened up the walls that separate the great room and kitchen, mimicking the arch in brick wall. The master bathroom is a new oasis featuring a walk-in tile shower, soaker tub, granite countertops and tile floor. Every room in this whole house remodel project is warm, rich and inviting.
